Certified Leprenuer Awards 2018 Thoughts

Donna the owner of Ganda Negosyo invited me to several business meetings, trade-shows, product press-con, BPO consultancy and conferences. Lately the last June 19, 2018 Certified Leapreneur's Awards in St Francis Shangri-la Place, Mandaluyong City. I admire the courage of this employee turned to be a full blooded entrepreneurs.

I saw how established Global brand like the Potato Corner mentored the awardees. Stating that an award is a curse or suffering expectation of business excellence to do more. They site an example when they launched its products in the US. Set as an example that a Filipino company that used US potato products to sell to Pinoy Expat and Americans.
Also encouraged this new breed to go global when it comes to business market domination. Entrepreneurship training and mentorship to the next level. Congrats to the Certified Leaprenuer! The 15 Awardees are the following Raymund Layoso of Rayne Laundry Express. Donna May Tomboc of ZNTR Travel and Tours.

Alexander Duca of CodeSkitch Solutions &  Upbeat Multimedia, Cecille Sarmiento of Buttons Up Ventures Inc., Christine Acosta of C.A. Design and Build, John Carlos Valdepenas of SV Wellness and Services Corporation, Engr. Jun Tamayo of Aquasian Water Technologies Inc., Esther Joy Sanchez Villa Vitaliana Farms Inc.

Mark Bryan Asilo of MYNE Inc., Elisa Cruz of Westgate Farm, Jojo Cruzado of The Laundry Project, Miguel dela Rosa of MPLIFY Marketing Enterprise, Edward Cruz of Ecomilion Inc., Mark Angelo Hernandez of MOZ Inc., and Ronnie Billones of BillGreen Enterprises.
Whether your an employee or entrepreneur I think you need to sell yourself everyday. I can say that you can be an Employee or Entreprenuer with a $50m yearly salary or market value. They have a mindset like Mang Inasal that don't approach big corporations, instead work hard and let them approach or buy you.

Then negotiate for company profit share exit or partnership. So this is like an alumni like graduating in any college. It doesn't stop in an award or plaque. For the real score is the contract and still profit in the real business pro world. So the real pressure is on where there are google, facebook, alibaba, apple and a lot of great young guys out there smashing each goals-targets.

Certified Leprenuer Awards is the 1st ever recognition given to employees who took the "leap of faith" to become a full pledge or full time business people. From Retail, Agriculture, Hospitality, Construction, Online, Services and eCommerce. This is the advocacy of Jerry Llao the founder that once an employee for 7 years of famous multinational company. Enjoyed world travel and company perks.

Left his corporate job after realizing that 7/10 of employees want to start their own business someday. He founded this in 2015 to help employees goes into transition of becoming a businessman. He believes that the ripple effect on our economy that entrepreneur capacity can hire more employees to reduced unemployment.

With more than 6000 members most are OFW in Singapore, Dubai, HK, Saudi, Malaysia and Japan. Lepreneur helped as many Filipinos through its various program and they do meet up for various training. “Most employees and OFWs don’t have any clue how to start their own business. We want to teach them and show that with the right preparation, and unwavering determination, becoming a successful entrepreneur is indeed doable,” - Jerry Ilao.

I failed more than 10 business ventures in the past. So here I am again, working in the BPO industry at the same time having a business on the other side for more than 10 years. I agree to Jerry's book quote - case point that you need to have at least more than double income source.

Of part time business income constantly before you quit your job. Because it will consumed too much time, hard earned financial and several resources. Where the goal to do trial and error - is to fail fast then succeed. Which consume too much energy, resources and courage. Its not that easy!

We talked and interviewed several awardees such as Raymund about his laundry success and expansion. Donna about her local and international travel passion and HR job before quiting the corporate job world. We might travel with her sometime. Jore Conol of Urbanfarm_Ph also show us her Cactus and Succulents garden business.

Also Ted Ferrer - Chairman of Generika Group, and Armando “Butz” Bartolome, President of GMB Franchise Developers, inspired the awardees & challenged them to go international. Successful entrepreneurs from the Association of Filipino Franchisers, Inc. (AFFI) are also present then witnessed this glorious business event.
