With 100 days from the start of the London 2012 Olympic Games we are launching our global P&G Thank You Mom campaign. It is the biggest campaign in P&G’s nearly 175-year history and will run from now through the end of the Olympic Games.
The campaign recognizes and celebrates the moms behind the athletes by thanking moms for all they do and is founded on the insight that behind every amazing athlete is an even more amazing mom.
To mark the start of the campaign, we are globally launching “Best Job” a short film that celebrates the role moms play in raising Olympic athletes and in raising great kids. To view the film click here.
To make it easy for people to join in the P&G Thank You Mom campaign, P&G is also launching the Thank You Mom digital app that allows people to thank their own moms by uploading personalized content in form of a video, still image with caption or text-based message. Users will then be able to encourage friends and family to do the same, spreading the word to thank and celebrate moms. To view, click here.
As a part of the P&G family, we hope you will be excited by this campaign and that you’ll want to help spread the word.
We invite you to join us by viewing and sharing “Best Job” video link (http://www.youtube.com/user/ThankYouMomPH) with friends and family. It will be available beginning April 18 at noon. Then, go and thank your mom or a mom in your life using our new Thank You Mom app (http://www.facebook.com/thankyoumomPH). We hope this campaign will spark a movement that inspires people around the world to thank their moms.
Procter & Gamble brands Ariel, Safeguard, Pampers and Pantene are actively participating in this campaign and will have surprises in store for Filipino moms as the London 2012 Olympic Games roll out.
