Peta Philippines: Justify the Animals

Peta Philippines - The Animals can't speak for themselves so human can speak for them.
This is a strong campaign of PETA protecting the animals i remember the movie furry vengeance.
Now i understand why this group of people advocacy. I admit to myself that i eat a lot of meat and go to KFC but after this i event i try to minimize eating meat and turn myself into vegetarian.

After 2 years since Ashley Fruno and Roshelle invited me to join the event.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), with more than 2 million members and supporters, is the largest animal rights organization in the world.

PETA focuses its attention on the four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: on factory farms, in laboratories, in the clothing trade, and in the entertainment industry. We also work on a variety of other issues, including the cruel killing of beavers, birds and other "pests," and the abuse of backyard dogs.

PETA works through public education, cruelty investigations, research, animal rescue, legislation, special events, celebrity involvement, and protest campaigns.

WORLD LEADERS SPEAK LION, ELEPHANT, AND OWL IN NEW PETA TV SPOT
Ad Asks Filipinos to 'Give Animals a Voice' on International Justice Day

Manila — A light-hearted ad by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) Asia depicts newsreel images of world-renowned leaders—including Corazon Aquino, Nelson Mandela, John Lennon, and Gandhi—dubbed with animal sounds. The spot concludes with a message reminding viewers that animals can't speak for themselves.
In this Picture Rochelle R. Regodon discuss to us the Awards of Various Public, Non-Profit and Private people who help the campaign. From politician and to- corporations worldwide.

"It has taken bold action by compassionate leaders to expose the prejudices behind the oppression of women, children, and the poor," says PETA’s Rochelle R. Regodon. "Today, nonhuman beings are tormented and slaughtered out of sheer prejudice. Every animal deserves respectful, compassionate treatment—just as every human being does."

Releasing the TV spot in observance of International Justice Day, PETA Asia hopes viewers will follow the example of President Corazon Aquino, who fought for democracy for the most downtrodden Filipinos. Animals, too, need others to fight in their behalf. Each year, billions of animals endure untold pain and suffering—whether they are crammed into filthy enclosures on factory farms or are left to languish in barren cages in zoos.
