"Garmin-Asus M10 Connection" online contest will be held from 3 May 2010 to 30 May 2010 at contest website and on 26 June 2010, Saturday on board a rented yacht.

1. Eligibility for the Contest
1.1. To register for the Contest, participant must provide a valid name, address, contact number and email. Participants must also be aged 21 years old and above at the time of participation in contest. In addition, participants must agree to these terms and conditions.

 

1.2. Each winner can choose his or her partner from any chain, provided the chosen partner is already a contest participant when the winner is chosen. No exception to this rule will be made.

1.4. Entries will be submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet Access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. All non-valid and incomplete registration details will be disqualified, at the discretion of the contest Organizer.

1.5. Employees of ASUS and their affiliated and subsidiary companies, its advertising/promotion agencies or other firms involved in the design or conduct of this game, their sales representatives, distributors, retailers, and members of the households or immediate families are not eligible to participate.

1.6. False and/or deceptive entries or acts shall render entrants ineligible.

 

1.7. The contest is open to Singaporeans or foreigners residing in Singapore only.

2. Announcement of Results
2.1. The names of the winners and their chosen partners will be announced every Monday on contest website.

 

2.2 The winners agree their names, pictures and country/city of residence to be published in on Garmin-Asus and affiliate websites for advertising or marketing purposes. Other personal information will not be made public.

 

3. Contest Winner
3.1. The winners and their chosen partners must furnish valid NRIC/FIN/Passport for redemption of prizes. In addition, the winners and their chosen partners must agree to the Release, Waiver & Indemnity Form for the yacht trip.

 

3.2. Each registered participant can only join ONE chain and is only entitled to ONE prize.

 

3.3. The decisions made by ASUS/or its appointed judges are final and binding in all manners and no appeals shall be entertained for any reasons whatsoever.

4. Collection of Prizes
4.1. A notification email on prize redemption details will be sent to e-mail address provided by winner during registration.

 

4.2. In the event that the winner is unable to redeem the prize by attending the yacht trip, the winner shall forfeit the prize and ASUS shall select another winner or dispose of the prize in any way ASUS deems fit.

4.3. ASUS will not be responsible for any lost, late, incomplete, illegible, damaged or misdirected entries, or for any human or technical errors, failures or malfunctions in the transmission or receipt of Internet entries. The winner may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, and liability and publicity release where permitted within 90 days of notification of winning the prize. In the event of non-compliance with the Terms & Conditions or if the winner cannot be contacted via email, the prize will be forfeited and disposed of, at the discretion of the judges and contest Organizer.

4.4. The prize is non-exchangeable and non-transferrable. The Organizer reserves the right to replace any prize with another of equivalent value without notice. The Organizer accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize values.

4.5. All ancillary costs, for example delivery charges, duties and other taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

4.6. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that The Organizers, ASUS, and their subsidiary and affiliated companies and their respective advertising, promotion and distribution agencies, hosting media, affiliates, officers, directors, and employees shall have no liability of any kind arising from or in connection with the acceptance, possession or use of the prizes awarded herein and acknowledges that said parties are not in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or law, relative to any prize including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose. Acceptance of a prize further constitutes permission to use winner's name and likeness for publicity and advertising purposes worldwide without limitation and without additional compensation (except where prohibited).

4.7. ASUS shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

5. General
5.1. The Organizer reserves the right to, in its sole discretion, cancel or suspend the game should a virus, bugs or other causes beyond the control of the Organizer corrupt the administration, security or proper operation of the contest.

5.2. The Organizer makes no warranty, either express or implied, regarding this web site or any of its content, including but not limited to, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The Organizer does not warrant that the content and delivery of this web site shall be free from errors, bugs or viruses, uninterrupted, or repairable if damaged or impaired.

5.3. All entries become the property of ASUS. By entering the contest, the entrant irrevocably consents to the use of all information contained within the entry for marketing purposes by ASUS. The entrant also irrevocably consents to information contained within the entry being made available to affiliates and authorized business partners of ASUS, which may be outside Singapore. Demographic and profile data will also be collected and used to tailor user experience.

5.4. The laws of the Republic of Singapore shall govern the terms and conditions of this Contest.

The Organizer reserves the right to make any changes to the rules & regulations at any time without prior notification.
